Terms and Conditions

 

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions.

 

  1. Prize claims can only be made and validated by placing a successful order in conjunction with various product offers from the Promoter via phone, fax, mail or web and entering the promotional code when prompted. Entry is automatic on receipt of your order when your order.

 

  1. Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand who are 18 years and over, excluding employees of Identity Direct, Ortega Publishing Pty Ltd, Horizon Media, and their immediate families, associates, agents and suppliers.

 

  1. Two customers will be pre-selected to win prizes. They are allocated unique claim numbers which are 9158 and 9146. The prize for claim number 9158 is $500 cash. The customer with claim number 9146 will win $250 cash. Prize claims with claim number 9014 will go into a draw to allocate the corresponding prizes. A random number table shall be used to allocate prizes to each winner. There will be a total of 700,000 catalogues sent to residents of Australia and New Zealand featuring prize claim number 9014.

 

  1. The first customer selected will receive the $10,000.00 cash, the next customer selected will receive $1,000.00 cash, then 28,000 customers in Australia shall receive a Quickflix gift voucher (valued at $29.90 each, representing a total value of $837,200.00). Then 2,200 customers in New Zealand shall receive a cartoon DVD (valued at $24.95 each, representing a total value of $54,890.00 in New Zealand). 9,162 customers shall receive the Quickflix gift voucher in NSW, 6,935 in VIC, 5,590 in QLD, 2,817 in WA, 2,102 in SA, 655 in TAS, 451 in ACT and 288 in NT. We reserve the right, if needed, to replace prizes with other products of equal value, subject to State approval. In case the prize claims with Claim Numbers other than 9014 are not received, remaining prizes will be drawn in a second chance draw at the end of the promotion. A random number table shall be used to allocate prizes to each winner. When a matching entry is received the prize will be sent to the customer. The first customer selected will receive the highest value remaining prize, the second customer selected will receive next highest value remaining prize, and so on, until all remaining prizes have been allocated. Total prize value is $903,840.00

 

  1. Promotion commences on 29th December 2010. Entries for both instant win prizes and the Claim Number 9014 draw close last mail received on 29th July 2011. The major draw for prize claims with Claim Numbers 9014, 9158 and 9146 will take place at Handling Matters, 1/3 Green Street, Brookvale NSW 2100 on 5th August 2011 at 3pm. The second chance draw for any unclaimed instant win prizes will take place at Handling Matters, 1/3 Green Street, Brookvale NSW 2100 on 5th August 2011 at 4pm. Winners will be notified by mail and their prizes will be mailed to them within 28 days. The names of winners where the prize value is $100 or more will be published in The Australian and The New Zealand Herald on 12th August 2011. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

  1. In the event of any unclaimed prizes, a draw will be held at 3pm on 5th November 2011 at the same place as the original prize allocation. Any winners will be notified by mail and their names published in The Australian and The New Zealand Herald on 12th November 2011.

 

  1. Cash prizes will be paid via cheque in the local currency of the winner. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise stated. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prizes.

 

  1. Official game materials void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.

 

  1. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected mail.

 

  1. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised by the entrant, each entrant consents to the information they submit with their entry being entered into a database and the Promoter may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant. All personal details of the entrants will be stored at the office of the Promoter. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office.

 

  1. Printing error(s) and other quality control matters will not be used as a reason for refusing payment of prizes.
